New visual identity

When attitude creates action: Ambitious agenda at Johnsen in Grenaa

A new visual identity for one of the country's largest printing and graphic houses, Johnsen Print & Digital Media in Grenaa, will give a glimpse into the company. At the same time, we now offer even more options for customers who want environmentally certified printed matter.

The new visual identity for the company also brings together and emphasizes the organic emergence that Johnsen Print & Digital Media wants to cherish - illustrated through living forms, among other things.

Customers, suppliers and partners will now see the new look in all communication from the company, online and in print.

Cradle to Cradle Certified(R) Bronze and FSC(R) paper provide customer benefits

Among other things, Johnsen offers a complete printed matter line that has achieved Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze; one of the world's toughest environmental certifications. The company is among the 11 printing companies in the world that have achieved it.

The print line's magazines, leaflets, posters, etc. are now scrutinized throughout the entire value chain until they reach the customer - from raw materials to production. But the ambitions on behalf of the environment don't stop there.

The printing company also prints and prints primarily on FSC-certified paper, which ensures responsible forestry and safe working conditions for forest workers. Most recently, Johnsen has even been accepted as a member of FSC.

Help with customer marketing - part or all

Many customers appreciate that Johnsen can solve all their graphic needs in one place; from POS materials, brochures and trade show displays to store signs, magazines, business cards, flags and much more. But the company is also seen as a partner that prioritizes flexibility.

Some customers want help with everything from ideation and concept development to production, distribution and marketing. Others ask for help with a specific piece of the overall marketing puzzle - for example, shop signs for a specific campaign. And that's the way it should be: customers are always free to decide how much or how little help they want.

For all customers, however, Johnsen always advises and encourages to produce as green and climate-friendly an end product as possible - within the framework of the task. The company sees this as its responsibility, also on behalf of the customers.

Green energy and biodiversity underline the seriousness

For several years, Johnsen Print & Digital Media has only used certified 100 percent wind turbine power in its production. This is now supplemented with power from its own solar cells located on the roof. On sunny days, the company is completely self-sufficient with power for the facilities in Grenaa.

The roof also houses a large flowering biodiversity garden, providing much-needed space for thousands of insects and bees. And in the parking lot outside the company, guests, customers and employees have access to charging stations for their cars.

The environment is such an integral part of Johnsen Print & Digital Media that they have been ISO14001 certified for years - which means that the environment is implemented in operations; from management to production.

Many additional green initiatives are also already on the drawing board: "We will not rest on our laurels. The green area needs all of us to fight for it." says Director Steen Johnsen.
