CSR policy
Responsible value creation
The term CSR refers to corporate social responsibility.
In short, it's about us as a company also creating value for society and our stakeholders.
At Johnsen, the area is now so integrated into our brand and mindset that we consider CSR to be part of our DNA.

The triple bottom line
CSR aims to integrate the environment, social responsibility and economic profit into a higher, healthier whole. CSR is therefore often referred to as the triple bottom line - focusing on the "three Ps": Planet (environment), People (social responsibility) and Profit (economy). Johnsen incorporates all three P-principles into the daily workflow - from the environment to anti-corruption, human rights, labor rights and a strong, secure economy.
The planet - the environment
In everything we do, we are constantly striving to take greater environmental considerations into account - step by step. See for example our initiatives under the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Cradle to Cradle and FSC.
People - Social responsibility
Our employees' working conditions and rights - including well-being, inclusion, access to health insurance and overall company culture - are continuously critically reviewed and evaluated.
Profit - company finances
Since our founding, the balance between robust, steadily increasing earnings and consideration for the environment and employee welfare has been fundamentally important. We must and will make money, but only in a proper way; one that also benefits employees, stakeholders and local communities.
