Water and Soil Stewardship

– responsible water and soil use

Water and soil are essential resources for people, nature, and production. Water & Soil Stewardship is therefore about protecting these resources and ensuring that the company’s activities do not place an unnecessary burden on aquatic environments and soil ecosystems.

Cradle to Cradle Certified® assesses, among other things, a company’s water consumption, wastewater management, and potential impact on the aquatic environment.

The report also focuses on the chemical substances that may end up in wastewater or sludge, and on how the company works to reduce this impact. At the same time, it examines how the company monitors and documents its management of water-related issues.

Our production is therefore viewed as part of a larger context. Printed materials consist not only of paper and ink, but are the result of a production process in which materials, energy, water, and chemicals all play a role.

That is why it is important to understand the relationship between production and the resources on which it depends.

Cradle to Cradle Certified® is therefore about more than just complying with applicable regulations. It is about understanding one’s impact, working systematically to reduce it, and continuously improving the company’s practices.

The goal is to promote the responsible use of resources, taking into account the environment in the long term.
