What is FSC?

FSC is an abbreviation for Forest Stewardship Council; an international non-profit labeling scheme for wood and paper. The FSC label can be found on wood and paper products that can be purchased with a clear conscience.

This is because in an FSC forest, no more wood is harvested than the forest reproduces itself. At the same time, FSC is a guarantee that animals and plant life are protected and that the people working in the forest are trained and receive proper safety equipment and wages.

Companies that focus on FSC and environmental policies automatically increase their CSR profile.
